Platelet Rich Plasma treatment is where we take a small sample of your blood, spin it in a centrifuge to separate the different components of the blood and obtain what’s referred to as “liquid gold”, Plasma. When treating hair loss, we take the plasma and inject it into the areas of concern thus promoting the body’s response to produce collagen, elastin and stimulate the hair follicle to become thicker. With treating the face, we can inject the plasma into the areas such as the under eyes helping create a brighter appearance or we can microneedle the plasma into the skin.

This component of the blood can be used to treat hair loss, the appearance of acne scarring, under the eyes for dark circles, large pores, hyperpigmentation and the appearance of fine lines/wrinkles. This helps to plump the skin, reduce the look of hyperpigmentation, acne scars and fine lines/wrinkles.

It is recommended to do three or more sessions when doing Microneedling and PRP together to ensure maximum effect. These sessions are done one month apart. PRP is relatively safe procedure as the product itself comes from your own body. Results will vary between individuals.
